Setting up your account
Bïndo uses email/password sign-in, with Google and Apple as alternatives. On first launch:
- Grant location permission so Bïndo can pin your sightings on the map
- Grant photos permission to attach photos to sightings
- Complete your profile (first and last name required)
On a fresh install, Bïndo downloads the bird database and your existing data before opening the main view.
Sightings and lists are separate things
You never need a list to record a bird. Every sighting stands on its own and goes straight into your life list. Lists just group a session or trip together — handy for comparing outings, atlas surveys, or birding with a group.
