Welcome to Bïndo

Five tabs run along the bottom.

Explore

Add Sighting

Listing

Areas
Browse reserves and hotspots.

Setting up your account

Bïndo uses email/password sign-in, with Google and Apple as alternatives. On first launch:

  1. Grant location permission so Bïndo can pin your sightings on the map
  2. Grant photos permission to attach photos to sightings
  3. Complete your profile (first and last name required)

On a fresh install, Bïndo downloads the bird database and your existing data before opening the main view.

Sightings and lists are separate things

You never need a list to record a bird. Every sighting stands on its own and goes straight into your life list. Lists just group a session or trip together — handy for comparing outings, atlas surveys, or birding with a group.
